Origanum Herrenhausen

This perennial herb is commonly known as Oregano. 'Herrenhausen' has a bushy habit of wire-like stems and small round green (tinted with purple) leaves. Butterflies are attracted to their mauve-pink tubular flowers during summer.

A great plant if your garden is in an exposed location. 'Herrenhausen' does require a sunny spot with well-drained soil, therefore a south-facing border is preferred. Ideal for gravel gardens and coastal situations as well.
