Kniphofia 'Tawny King' (Red hot poker)

A free flowering perennial with soft orange dense buds opening to cream to form a two-tone dense poker-like spike carried on bronzy brown stems above evergreen, mid-green leaves. Flowers mid summer.
Although easy to grow, Tawney King does not like to sit in wet soil during winter.
Kniphofias lend height, vibrancy and drama to any garden.
