Cimicifuga (Actaea) Simplex 'Black Negligee'

Cimicifuga is an extremely handsome plant and really stands out with its purple-black lacey leaves. Adding to its allure, white sweetly scented flowers emerge on tall spikes in late summer and autumn, 'Black Negligee' is one of the few intensely fragrant perennials for the shade garden. Brilliant for attracting bees, birds, butterflies/moths and other pollinators. It has nectar/pollen rich flowers and has seeds for birds.
